This FASEB-NPA workshop will address
the needs of graduate students
nearing the completion of their
graduate work and postdoctoral
fellows who will soon transition
into their first professional
appointment. The workshop will
provide information regarding common
concerns of early-career scientists
(including negotiating salary and
resources, funding opportunities,
interviewing tips, and choosing the
right career path); information
specific to the needs of senior
graduate students and transitioning
postdoctoral fellows; and a
roundtable session highlighting
different career paths.
